The Passover Table

1 Corinthians 11.23b-25:

The Lord Jesus, on the night when he was betrayed, took bread, and, when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.”

The Passover is typically broken down into the pursuit of the individual, the family, and the community in the light of the Lord. It is about finding peace (shalom), even in the middle of the darkest moments of our lives, and honoring the sacrifices made to guard that light, to transition from the daily grind of life and living and into the reverence of the Lord.

We adore you, oh Christ, and we thank you.
By your holy cross, you have redeemed the world.
Lord Jesus, help us walk in your steps
