We have a high-view of the Bible and base our teaching on what it says, finding relevant ways of communicating God’s eternal truths. But we also try to not take ourselves too seriously and have fun. We want you to be encouraged, blessed, and challenged by what God has shared with us!

PETER: The Driven Apostle

Life with Jesus has a way of exposing how courage and fear can exist in the same heart at the same. We can want to trust God and still feel the pull of old habits, kneejerk reactions, and nagging regret. We can believe grace is real while still wondering whether our worst moments still shadow us in dogged fashion. That tension is familiar because faith is rarely as clear or clean as we'd like it to be, and growth often begins right where our weakness comes into the light.

Peter gives us a painfully honest picture of what can happen when Jesus meets a person who is willing, impulsive, sincere, and deeply unfinished. His life helps us see that failure doesn't have to be the end of faith, and that the grace of Jesus can rebuild what fear, pride, and weakness have broken ... or are breaking. For anyone who has ever loved God, Peter's story points us toward God's restoring mercy and the Savior who still calls us to follow Him.

Freedom

Many of us hesitate to speak up about what matters most because we feel unqualified, unprepared, or afraid of saying the wrong thing. We imagine that the right words belong to experts or that meaningful conversations require a perfect plan. Over time, this can transform into silence, and silence can rob others of the hope we could share with them. The result is that opportunities pass us by, not because we lack compassion, but because we doubt our ability to speak well enough or wisely enough.

But what if those fears were no longer in control? What if we could enter every conversation knowing that we don’t have to carry the weight of having all the answers? There is a freedom that comes from trusting that the right words will be given at the right time, that God is already working in the other person’s heart, and that our role is simply to listen, respond, and speak from the hope we know because of Jesus. In that kind of freedom, conversations become less about performance, more about love, and freedom for what’s deep in our souls.
